| Children
have no worries in their world and they can make everywhere as playground
with imagination. Tse Ming-chong grew up in a typical local public housing
estate when he was young. Years later, he worked as a reporter, and he
started to capture the joyful moment of children's game and play occasionally.
While the photographs from the exhibition were taken in different local
districts during 80's, "Childhood" is a projection of the artist's
personal feeling, as well as the collective memories of our childhood.
Do come and let the photos bring us back to our lovely old days! |

Art
in Hospital will present "Artist in Residence Programme - A
New Song to Sing", music and dance for the new born baby and mother,
to promote their well being and that of the family. All are welcome
to join!
Music
is much more than entertainment. It also promotes both adult and infant
health and wellbeing. As young as new born, baby could already enjoy
in the process - through singing and dancing with their mothers, music
could help baby grow healthily, decrease the chance of post-natal depression
of the mothers, and also strengthen interaction and communication between
family members. Australian artist, Ms. Beth Rankin, together with local
renowned dancer, Mr. Andy Wong, will lead seminar and workshops, share
this wonderful music-and-dance method to mothers and their newborns.
Musician,
Beth Rankin, is a registered nurse who is an art educator in the Melbourne
University and a researcher in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at
La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Her master's research was
a randomized controlled trial of "the Therapeutic Effects of Music
and Dance on the Health of New Mothers". Art in Hospital is very
honored to invite Beth and Andy to the "Artist in Residence programme
- A New Song to Sing"! In the seminar, Beth will share with us
how music impacts us over the life's course, with focus on health of
new born baby and mother. With lullabies, dance and movement, artists
will demonstrate this easy and happy method in the workshops. |
